hey all. What does it look like for the journey to be a vibrant, healthy, motivated by grace and love church? Shoot me some thoughts.

Alright.. thoughts from the new girl... I read a phenomenal book today, simple yet profound and in a few of the points, the Journey and this question came to mind.
First off I'll add another question into the mix: what do we desire our DNA to be? And in thinking about DNA in a biological sense, it's REALLY unique to the individual entity, it's not something we can merely mimic and have it suffice let alone thrive. And with that a side note that lately God has been impressing on me the necessity of clarifying terms; we all use fantastic words on a regular basis like "community", "service", "health", etc. but I am often impressed that what I envision those terms meaning is very different than what another means when he uses them. So to sort our DNA, how do we define the visionary terms we use? (Hope that makes relative sense, I'm finding I'm a bit scattered at this hour.)
In keeping with that, I found myself wondering about another questions, for myself really but I'll toss it out for you all as well: am I joyful and passionate in running the race God has set for ME? Not for those I compare myself to or those I admire but for me? The author recounted various conversations where friends had verbalized grand callings and that she had not had the experience of God calling her to be a pastor or start a ministry but He WAS calling her to follow Him fully, completely, even if her life warranted no recognition in the eyes of others. She also used the analogy of going running with friends and how they all went about it a different way; she is a long distance runner and thus went at a more methodical pace while one friend did sprint intervals and another ran a 400 dash, grew tired, and sat down. I found myself wondering how it looks for the Journey to run a race unique to us?
The book is The Sacred Echo by Margaret Feinberg; happy to loan it out. I realize that such questions might just be circling the wagons back to points you all have already discussed but as someone new to all this, such are my questions/thoughts.
